LITTLE TIFFIN starts with the love of Thai home cooking. 

Growing up, I watched my grandmother cook everyday at home. She was a chef for Thai royalty in Chiang Mai when she was in her twenties. Every meal that she made was flavorful and traditional. When I was four, she opened a restaurant offering delivery using tiffins! I couldn’t help much but I remember that I was waiting in my mom’s pick-up truck that she used for delivery.

I couldn’t wait to get home after school to be her helper. From tasting a bowl of Khao Soi to cleaning cilantro roots, she really taught me to understand the ingredients. She was a true inspiration for me to start cooking.
